Cultural exchanges

  • ‘Youth for integration’ action 1.1 of the Youth in Action Programme, carried out in Palermo in June 2012. Objective: to show how mobility projects can increase cultural integration among young people. Participating countries: Italy and France.

 

  • ‘We are brothers, we are the future’ action 1.1 of the Youth in Action Programme, carried out in Palermo in August 2012. This project planned the creation of a programme document to spread the useful instruments for youth mobility. Participating countries: Italy, France, Poland, Hungary and Iceland.

 

  • ‘Youth against racism’ action 1.1 of the Youth in Action Programme was carried out in Palermo in October 2012 with the aim of organising a theatre performance staged at the University of Palermo. Participating countries: Italy, Poland, Slovenia and Lithuania.

 

  • ‘For democracy: natural and human’ action 1.3 of the Youth in Action Programme, carried out between Palermo and Ankara between November and December 2012, planned the creation of a promotional video about European citizenship.

 

  • ‘We are the roots of Europe’ action 1.1 of the Youth in Action Programme was carried out in Palermo in October 2013 during which the potential of European opportunities has been studied and analysed. Participating countries: Italy, Latvia, Romania, UK and Poland.

 

  • ‘Europe building’ action 1.2 of the Youth in Action Programme, carried out in Palermo between October 2013 and May 2014.

 

  • ‘What’s Nature? What’s City’ action 1.1 of the Youth in Action Programme was carried out in Palermo and Collesano with the aim of understanding the difference between rural life and life in a small town. Participating countries: Italy, Lithuania, Slovenia, Latvia and Turkey.

 

  • ‘Orientating towards development’ action 1.2 of the Youth in Action Programme carried out in Palermo between September and July 2014. Its aim was to analyse and spread financial instruments to support social inclusion, such as microcredit.

 

  • ‘Let’s Move Together’ cultural exchange KA1 Erasmus+ Programme, carried out in Palermo in January 2015. Participating countries: Italy, Spain, Lithuania and Romania.

 

  • ‘An Exchange for your working life’, a cultural exchange KA1 Erasmus+ Programme about issues related to youth employment was carried out in Palermo in July 2015. Participating countries: Italy, Spain, Croatia and Romania.

 

  • ‘BSBE – Breaking Stereotypes Building Europe’, a cultural exchange KA1 Erasmus+ Programme carried out in Palermo in October 2015 with the objective of breaking down cultural stereotypes through theatre.
